Huh???
So, I had that fund-raising breakfast at Royal Ridges this morning, where my alarm went off before 7am (unheard of!)...it's probably a good thing that they didn't ask me to say anything nice about the college at that hour...
They undertook a big project a few weeks ago to make a promo video for Ripon, and they showed it to all the wealthy people who they're hoping to get money from, but it kind of perturbed me. They used all sorts of recent stuff from science labs (biology, i think) and communication, but anything else was not recent at all. There was a clip of a pops concert (3-4 seconds long) that was outside, but it wasn't last year, so that means it was probably May 2000 or earlier. There was clip of a senior recital that may have been Tracy or Ali, so, uh, fall 2002 at best...There was a very minute amount on theatre...which is, in my opionion, one of the best departments (and I'm not a theatre person at all!)...yeah, prioritize next time, that's all.
