An update of sorts - if I don't fall asleep....
So, it's 6:06am, and I'm awake. I know, little red flags going up, I'm not up at 6am, unless I haven't gone to sleep. Which is the case .... wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!
It was a fun day today. I'm so fucking tired, but, eh, meh, I can sleep when I'm dead. Okay, so that's going to be a while. I can sleep on May 16th, and not wake up until May 27th, should the summer plans go as they are looking to go. Sleep!!!
Anyway, so I woke up around noon, after going to bed a little after 3, and well, my sleep schedule has been messed up!!! First set of one-acts at 1pm, then shooting the shit with the music geeks until about 3:45, then Liz's recital at 4, then up the hill briefly, then one-acts again at 7:10ish (and super props to emily for driving me, a- because i was tired, b- cause it was raining!). Then after the one-acts, more music geek fun! Our movie plans were not so well-laid, but we (me, Steph, Krysta, Ben, J, Tom, and Elizabeth) made our "We survived Skigee 2005!" shirts...complete with signatures. And the front of my shirt says Lauren on the left boob, and l'oboe on the tummy. I have a shirt that says "We survived Skigee 2005" and "l'oboe"...*sighs*...I need help.
Anyway, we only have 17 minutes of film - but it is 17 minutes of quality film - Ben conducting the CD of star wars (and jason telling me to "sing bitch!"), interpretive dance by me, Steph, Krysta & Elizabeth to Ben & J's drum improv, Tom with the French accent introducing the film, and, the Skigee drinking song!
After burning the popcorn and finding the copier to not be working, after the boys had polished off their six beers each, and at the 4am mark we decided to clean up - and the infamous "i'm buzzing, but I'm definitely awake, so let's go get breakfast!"....we walked back to the dorms, went to our respective rooms, and all met back in J's room so I could be DD (why?!?!?!?!?!) and drive everyone to Perkins in Oshkosh...
After I (foolishly??) suggested that, Tom's reaction: Great, do you drive stick?
Me: Uh, no, I've only driven stick once. And it was for three blocks. And I was being taught by a drunk person. *smirks*
Tom: Uh, three blocks is a little different than 20 miles...we'll take Ben's car.
So, it's now 6:15. I'm beyond tired. I think my body might just shut down. I should probably get to bed, 'cause I have whorealiers at noon, and I have to give consideration as to whether I want to sleep tomorrow afternoon, or force myself to stay awake to write evil paper of doom on Ben Franklin, or stay up late tomorrow night - again. :)
Yay for music geek fun!
And yay for bed.
